We stayed in bed late and I went with Erik to his optometrist appointment at Costco. In turn, he went to Portland Nursery with me. Raccoons dumped my waterlily out of its pot and severed all of the leaves and shoots, so I had to re-pot it; apparently you just use garden soil but soak it overnight before putting it in the water pot.
We worked on small house projects-- Erik's dad came over to help cut quarter-round for the front porch-- and then met friends at Thatch for a Volcano Bowl. Erik and I hightailed it back to CineMagic to see "Hancock," and the rest of the evening has been relaxing.
