I started cooking at 9am. When I checked on the bread dough I had started the night before. Over twelve hours, it hadn't grown at all. I went to two grocery stores and got new yeast, but the dough wasn't ready in time for Thanksgiving dinner. I made two kinds of cranberry sauce (tangy ginger and raw apple-orange), a Tofurkey with roasted veg, butternut squash turnovers, and gravy. My mom made a wild rice dish with dried cherries and hazelnuts-- very Pacific Northwest.
The Thanksgiving meal was fantastic, with more vegan dishes than I could've imagined. Of course I never got around to a run today. Erik and I walked to the video store and we've been resting off the huge meal.
