Today I saw a bald eagle gliding over Highway 26 and a huge rainbow in the storm-dark sky in SE, almost home from work. I went out to buy bulbs for the various lights that had burned out on the back of Erik's car; I filled the yard waste bin to the top, cleaning up more garden beds; I pumped up the tyres on my bike so that I can leave in the early evening for Corvallis tomorrow for the Beaver Freezer triathlon on Saturday morning. But the thing that excited me most was discovering the vending machines in the nice meeting room in the gym. One had beverages and the other snacks; the latter had Salsitas, my favorite chips! Best $0.90 I've spent in a long while.
