Today I saw three men laid out on the sidewalk outside of the fancy Safeway on SW 10th Ave. It appeared that two of them were tackling a third. People waiting to cross at the street corner were leaned towards them, watching. There was also some car rubbernecking-- the two left-turners in front of me. I sped past to pick up Erik from work.
I also saw an amazing expression of love-- Portobello, the new vegan trattoria near my house. The "restaurant" takes place in a coffeeshop, limited evening hours and days of the week. Erik and I dressed up for a date and shared an appetizer, two small plates and a main course, as well as tiramisu. Yum.
