Today I saw snow on the roof, from the window of my closet. A yellow plastic soldier with a clear plastic parachute-- I thought it was trash in my yard from afar, but it made me smile. Camelias in bloom. A crow bathing in the frigid water of the entrance fountain at work. An Anna's humming bird zipping around the door to the building I walk through, then dive-bombing my head.
