Nelson-- our final full day in New Zealand. We hung out at the internet coffee chain Esquire for quite some time, then Julie and I went downtown to get food for me and check out the [Saturday] market. After picking up Erik, I think we went back into town to get food for Erik and Julie. We wandered around a bit, checking out shops. On the way back to our hotel, we stopped on Rocks Road to check out the gorgeous view, and then we went to Tahunanaui Beach to walk in the warm water and try to stay warm against the strong wind. Julie checked out the jazz festival going on at Smugglers, the pub right next door, and then we all ate pizza from the scandalous NZ chain, Hell.
