Woke up at 6am for a 12 mile run on the Leif Erickson Trail from the more secluded and shady north side. Came home, ate, showered, stopped for a vegan donut and iced coffee on the way to the farmers' market with Erik. We also made a quick stop at the grocery store on the way home for oranges and peaches so that I could make sangria. It got up to 102 degrees outside by our little weather station thermometer, so I made cold-brew coffee, fresh lemonade, and sangria-- gotta keep hydrated. I spent most of the way watering the garden beds and doing little things like sealing the kitchen countertop, searching through the utility closet for the grill smoker box, watching "I'm Not There" and moving things around to appropriate locations. We ate dinner at Sungari Pearl to celebrate Erik's new job.
