Hunted down breakfast in Cory's beach house, and I decided to skip Sara's birthday brunch to enjoy the good fortune of Wenchie's visit. We walked down to the beach, taking photos and finding gorgeous rocks in the surf. Then we headed north into town, ate at a great Thai restaurant (Cory and Wenchie got vegan dishes so that we all could share, and it was wonderful), walked to a kite shop and spent time poking around, then walked to "Strung Out," a bead and coffee shop. We spent a couple of hours in there, talking to the husband and wife owners. The wife made jewelry, while the husband turned wood bowls and dishes for displaying the wares.
