Technically I don't have influenza (I had the pipe-cleaner-up-the-nose test) and my lungs don't sound crackly enough for pneumonia. Is this a common cold? Will I be the first person to die from a cold when my sinuses explode from the unbearable pressure? If/when they finally clear, I might have them filled in with a light and airy foam insulation, so that this doesn't happen again.
On a side note, I got a prescription for pseudoephedrine, which is by prescription only here in Oregon, and not covered by insurance at the pharmacy. I greedily stocked up, because that phenylephrine stuff is bunk. I can't believe that I'm forced to hoard the stuff.
